On May 14, 2009, Autism Escapes held their 1st Annual Golf Outing at the Essex County Country Club in West Orange, New Jersey. The golf outing was a great success! All the attendees had lots of fun playing golf and winning prizes despite the weather. Among the golfers were former New York Giants players Ottis Anderson and Scott Brunner and heavyweight boxer Gerry Cooney. Thank you to everyone who attended and sponsored prizes and silent auction items at the Golf Outing! Below are pictures from the 1st Annual Golf Outing.

After much hard work. Autism Escapes literally got off the ground on May 15, 2009. Accompanied by a behavioralist and a physician, two New Jersey patients with autism flew on a private aircraft, generously donated by FTCFBO from Morristown Municipal Airport in NJ and arrived at Hanscom Air field in Massachusetts less than an hour later. The families were taken to the MassGeneral LADDERS Clinic where they had the opportunity to meet with autism specialists. The trip was a great success with both families being able to receive the expert medical opinions and suggestions for their children

All of us at EmreAir are very excited to be involved with a new service founded to help children with autism. Autism Escapes is a new non-profit organization that will specialize in helping transport children with autism and their families to much needed health care via private jet. Most of these children cannot fly commercially so receiving life changing health care is next to impossible. Through aircraft donations and fundraising, Autism Escapes will help to change that. For more information on how you can help, please visit http://www.autismescapes.com or use our contact form here.
